DJ J.Christopher, formerly known as DJ Presto, began spinning records in 1985 while in high school in Europe. He began to explore his love of music as a percussionist from the age of eight through his first year in college where he began by majoring in music.

Breakbeat music helped J.Christopher to establish himself first as a promoter in Alaska, then later as a DJ of note winning the 2001 Anchorage Press' award of "Best Local DJ/Turntablist" as voted on by the readers of the weekly newspaper. With dabblings in breakbeat, house and various other styles of dance music, J.Christopher’s understanding of musical structure and the drama of the live mix have made him a popular performer.

J.Christopher has played clubs and parties with such talents as Thee-o, Tony Gamboa, Terminus, Wilhelm K, Aaric M, Bad Boy Bill, Dieselboy, Holly Adams, Gabe, Latyrx, Kid Dragon & Omega, Kelly Reverb, Huda Hudia, Sage, Machete, DJ dAb, Nicolas Bennison, Hobbit, Rion, DJ Hardware, John Debo, Jay Ell and D:Fuse.
